RG Fisheries Ltd – Angling Club Membership Terms and Conditions
These are the Terms & Conditions that directly apply to all RG Fisheries Angling Club Members and guests.
RG Fisheries Ltd are also referred to in this document as RG Fisheries.
Fishing times -Members are permitted to fish 72 hours, 7 days a week (season only); however, there may be times when we must
carry out general maintenance work when you will not be able to fish. You will be notified of this with seven days’ notice where
possible.
Vehicles must be parked in the designated areas and not on the grass at anytime
Access is only permitted to the private areas, please do not climb trees or gates or trespass on adjoining
properties.
Maximum number of rods – only 3 rods to be used (please make sure you have 2 EA rod licenses).
Litter -Take all litter home with you including discarded line and unused bait. – Do not leave it at the lake or on the bank.
Bank Damage -Do not cut or otherwise damage bank-side vegetation.
Toilets are available close to the lakes so please use them.
Night fishing is permitted 7 nights a week but no more than a 72-hour session in one swim can be
used at any one time unless agreed beforehand.
Leaving the Lake at night - Nobody is to leave the lake between the hours of 10:30pm and 5:00am so please arrange your schedule
accordingly and allow enough time to pack up.
Angling bivvies’ only are permitted and no tents are allowed.
Please do not leave bivvies in swims unless you have RG Fisheries approval.
Entrance Gates must always be kept closed and locked and please ensure you are re- scrambling the padlocks.
If you have been fishing other waters, then all nets, slings and mats must be thoroughly dry before use.
Bait boats are only allowed at the Renby – Lilies lake.
Maintenance Boats cannot be used without prior permission from Mr Richard Groves.
Snagged Line - If your fishing line becomes snagged on trees or bushes or anything in the water, please advise an RG Fisheries Bailiff.
Calendar -Please check the App Calendar for alerting of which lakes you should be fishing
Waders can only be used for returning fish to the lake, otherwise no waders to be used.
Guest Passes -2 guest passes per year may be available for up to 48hrs of fishing currently priced at £75-00p per 24hrs. you must
inform your guest that they attend at their own risk. Prices are subject to change.
Care of Fish - All fish must be returned to the water – sacks/slings to retain fish are permitted for photos etc but must not be used
for more than 1hour.
Returning fish to the water you must use a sling, zipped unhooking mat or landing net regardless of the distance being carried.
Antiseptic must be used on all captures, hook holds and sores. Checks will be made that you have antiseptic.
Removal of hooks. When removing hooks forceps MUST be used at all times.
Forceps are available to purchase – we will have these available for you to buy if you do not have any.
Tackle & Bait - No permanently fixed leads or bolt rigs, all leads must be able to break free should a fish become snagged.
Photographing Fish; All fish being photographed must be held over an unhooking mat at all times – photographs should be taken
kneeling down and under no circumstances should you hold fish standing up.
Weighing Fish; All Fish must be weighed using a sling or zipped unhooking mat
All members must carry a Medi Carp large unhooking mat and a landing net that is minimum of 42in.
Unhooking mats must be used at all times. Mats and specimen mats for carp and predator fishing can be purchased from;

Bait - Nuts of any sort must not be used as bait.
Particle baits must be prepared properly.
Plastic Baits are not to be to be used at any time.
Maggots may only be used as hook bait in December and January – do not use maggots as free offerings
anytime of the year.
Micro barbed hooks only are allowed. All flattened/ filled barb is prohibited. (Rigs will be checked)
Fishing Line: The minimum strength fishing line to be used is 12lb.
Braided main line is forbidden but braided hook line is allowed.
Curve shanked hooks. No long fox series 5, long shank nailers etc to be used.
Fixed leads are not allowed at any time - no tied or shotted or lead core to be used.
Rigs must be safe with lead able to eject if fish gets snagged.
Korda style lead clips are acceptable but tail rubber must not be forces down tight to prevent the lead ejecting.
Other Anglers: you must always show care & respect for fellow anglers.
Mobile telephones - ring tone volumes should be kept to a minimum and ideally turned to vibrate.
Radios – are allowed but must be set to a very low volume - No loud radio.
Fires: The lighting of fires at any time is strictly forbidden.
Firearms - The carrying and or the use of any type of firearm or crossbows on RG Fisheries premises is strictly forbidden.
Swimming - No swimming allowed in the Lakes or Ponds.
Drugs. The use of drugs is strictly forbidden.
Excessive alcohol is strictly forbidden.
Dogs are not allowed at the lakes unless approved by RG Fisheries who may approve this in certain situations. In this instance the
dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.
Antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated and your membership will immediately be terminated.
Rod alarms are permitted but the sound must be kept to a minimum.
Please be considerate when using buzzers; please turn the sound down as noise travels.
BBQs are permitted in moderation only.
Social Media/Magazines Restrictions
Once photographs etc are posted on RG Fisheries social media then these can only be shared 7 days after posting.
RG Fisheries reserves the right to revoke your membership at any time with no specific reason.
In this case the remainder of your membership fee may or may not be reimbursed at our discretion.
RG Fisheries App.
Please use this RG Fisheries App for as much communication as possible relating to your activities to send and receive photographic
experiences at the RG Fisheries Lakes I.E. “Your Content”.
The App gives you a view of the Calendar, messaging, an update of fish caught, together with group messages and other information
such as activities at the RG Fisheries Lakes.
Your Content
In these Terms and Conditions Website “Your Content” shall mean any audio, video text, images or other material you choose to
display on the App and or the Website. By displaying Your Content, you grant RG Fisheries a non-exclusive, worldwide irrevocable,
sub licensable license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate and distribute it in any and all media. The/Your Content must be
your own and must not be invading any third-party’s rights.
RG Fisheries reserves the right to remove any of Your Content from this Website at any time without notice.
Certain areas of the Website may be restricted from being accessed by you and RG Fisheries may further restrict access by you to
any areas of the Website and or the App at any time, in absolute discretion. Any user ID and password you may have for this Website
or App are confidential and you must maintain this confidentiality.
Guests must be approved in advance by RG Fisheries. Only one guest per person (2 guests per year). Your guest attends at their own
risk and they are not permitted to fish unless they obtain a guest pass.
Voluntary Work parties
These work parties are of great benefit to the fishery and the more members that help the more improvements and maintenance is
achieved. It is also a great opportunity to meet other members at the same time.
We fully understand that your weekends helping are not part of your membership but your participation however small will always
be appreciated.
Before agreeing to take part in a work party you must take into account your fitness to do so.
RG Fisheries accepts no responsibility for personal injury while participating in a work party.
Safety Reminder
You are reminded; because of the nature of the Lakes and surrounding areas, you should be extra aware of the following points
when moving around. The Climbing of trees is strictly forbidden.
When wet, any decking or steps can become slippery therefore extra caution must be taken.
Certain areas of the property may be out of bounds to members and you should always check with management before wandering
around beyond the obvious confines of the office buildings and parking areas.
Always approach any water with caution. Even shallow water has the potential to cause death and serious harm.
In the event of anyone falling into the water then if possible, the individual should be supported and helped in exiting the water
safely.
Life rings are located around the lake to assist in maintaining life and helping people get out of the water, should the need arise.
Footpaths and areas adjacent to the water are potentially muddy and/or slippery, uneven with ruts and/or sudden changes in level
and trees have overhanging branches etc. forming obstructions all of which may result in slips trips and/or falls.
Lakeside Banks by their nature are prone to being slippery and they can subside.
There is a variety of wildlife that can either bite and/or sting.
Individuals that have allergic reactions should notify a senior member of staff of their disposition and carry appropriate measures
with them to self-medicate.
You should avoid walking through any tall grass as you could attract ticks which can transmit Lyme’s disease.
All individuals should be required to walk at a pace appropriate to the ground i.e. slowly.
Bailiffs; appointed by RG Fisheries have the right to remove any angler or guests immediately should they feel the need to do so.
No warranties
The lake venues together with the Website and the App are provided “as is,” with all faults, and express no representations or
warranties, of any kind related to them or the materials contained on or in them. Nothing contained on the Website or App shall be
interpreted as advising you.
Limitation of liability
In no event shall RG Fisheries, nor any of its officers, directors and or employees, be held liable for anything arising out of or in any
way connected with your use of the facilities owned by RG Fisheries.
Vehicles and other equipment; RG Fisheries accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to equipment and or vehicles whilst on the
lake premises.
RG Fisheries App and website were designed to benefit the RG Fisheries members by sharing information such as photographs of
fish caught at the various RG Fisheries lakes. RG Fisheries including its officers, directors and employees shall not be held liable for
any indirect, consequential or special liability arising out of or in any way related to your use of either the App and information
displayed thereon or on the RG Fisheries Website or App.
Non Compliance of these Terms & Conditions will result in your membership being immediately terminated.
Payment: Failing to make monthly Bacs or other agreed payments will result in your membership being immediately terminated.
Indemnification
You hereby indemnify to the fullest extent RG Fisheries from and against any and/or all liabilities, costs, demands, causes of action,
damages and expenses arising in any way related to your breach of any of the provisions of these Terms.
Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions together with any RG Fisheries notifications constitute the entire agreement between RG Fisheries and
you in relation to your use of the RG Fisheries facility’s.
These Terms and Conditions supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
RG Fisheries reserve the right to update and or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Final Decision
The final decision on all matters relating to the RG Fisheries – Angling Club will be made by Mr Richard Groves.
